Veneering is a very useful technique that allows for a wide array of complex surface treatments while greatly enhancing the visual beauty of a piece.  Students will learn about the types of veneer, substrates, tools and glues. Two veneer projects will be completed: a 4 panel book match and a checkerboard pattern. 


Level: Intermediate

Prerequisites: Age 18+; Introduction to Woodworking A or instructor Approval

Format: 4 sessions, each 4 hours

Project you will make: 4 panel book match and checkerboard pattern.

Cost: $450 and $35 SDFWA membership;


Refund policy:
  1. Up to two weeks notice: Full refund
  2. Up to one week notice: 50% refund or credit
  3. Less than one week notice or failure to appear: No refund or credit
  4. Class canceled: Full refund

If a class does not have an adequate number of registered students one week prior to the posted start date, the class may be canceled.
