SERIES OF CLASSES

Turning wood bowls is a wonderfully enjoyable creative experience. However, in order to make a wood bowl, you have to learn and practice appropriate techniques. In this class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of using a 4 jaw chuck to hold the bowl blank. 

Level: Intermediate

Prerequisites: Age 18+; Introduction to Turning B and Lathe Spindle Certification; or Instructor Consent.

Format: Two sessions, 8 hours total

Cost: $250 and $35 SDFWA Membership

Membership Requirements: For insurance purposes, this class requires membership in the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association.  Annual dues are $35.  If you are not already a member, please join here. For insurance reasons, all SDFWA classes require students to be at least 18 years old.

Refund policy:

1. Up to two weeks notice: Full refund
2. Up to one week notice: 50% refund
3. Failure to appear: No refund
4. Class canceled: Full refund

If a class does not have an adequate number of registered students one week prior to the posted start date, the class may be canceled.
