Turn beautiful gifts for family and friends using small pieces of wood blanks. In this class, you’ll learn:
- Basic safety considerations
- Various tools used in pen turning
- Selection and preparation of the pen blanks
- Fitting the blanks to the hardware
- Selection of accessory pen construction elements
- Assembly of the pen using a jig
- Various steps used in finishing the pen
Cost: $125
Membership Requirements: SDFWA
Class Schedule: One 4-hour shop session
Prerequisites: Basic Spindle Turning
If a class does not have an adequate number of registered students one week prior to the posted start date, the class may be canceled.
