This is another entry-level class to acquaint students with the woodworking workshop. By the end of this class, students will be able to:
- Describe four woodshop safety principles.
- Demonstrate safety procedures for the table saw, jointer, and planer.
- Demonstrate rip and cross-cutting techniques on the table saw.
- List three elements of glue selection and use.
- Demonstrate cutting board set-up clamping techniques.
- Glue-up and finish one cutting board.
