Introduction to Carving

 SDFWA membership is required.  Shop membership is not required.

This is a Beta class offered and staffed by the Carving Special Interest Group (SIG).

Students in this class will be introduced to the fundamentals of carving.  The course will consist of a lecture and hands-on carving under the direction of experienced craftsmen.   Students will practice basic craving techniques by making wooden spoons.

The class will take a  break for lunch,   Lunch will not be provided so please plan accordingly.
