CNC Refresher is designed to instruct CNC users how to safely operate SDFWA CNCs after recent changes in technology and software. In this course, you will:
- Get updates about the new versions of design software, Carbide Create V7 and VCarve, and learn how these software packages interface with Carbide Motion.
- Get updates regarding the new CNC control software, Carbide Motion.
- Learn how to operate the new versions of the CNC Machines safely.
Class Schedule: One 4-hour class
Prerequisites: Class 401 - Intro to CNC
Membership Requirements: For insurance purposes, this class requires membership in the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association. Annual dues are $35. If you are not already a member, please join here: https://sdfwa.org/memberships. For insurance reasons, all SDFWA classes require students to be at least 18 years old.
