Learn the safety and basics of turning and become certified for using the shop lathes. The class concludes by making a tool handle, applying a ferrule and a finish.

Class Schedule: One, 5-hour session
Prerequisites: None
Membership Requirements: For insurance purposes, this class requires membership in the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association. Annual dues are $35. If you are not already a member, please join here: https://sdfwa.org/memberships For insurance reasons, all SDFWA classes require students to be at least 18 years old.
