Class - 403 Introduction to Shaper Origin (Fall - October) Section 1

This is an introduction to the safe use of the Shaper Origin and its Workstation using design files available for the Shaper Origin. We will cover the basic tool workflow, entering simple shapes into Origin, and all the basic types of cuts. The class will result in certification to use the tool. 

Class Schedule: One four-hour class

Prerequisites: None

Membership Requirements: For insurance purposes, this class requires membership in the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association.  Annual dues are $35.  If you are not already a member, please join here: https://sdfwa.org/memberships.  For insurance reasons, all SDFWA classes require students to be at least 18 years old.

Cost: $100

Refund policy:

1. Up to two weeks notice: Full refund
2. Up to one week notice: 50% refund
3. Less than one week notice or failure to appear: No refund or credit
4. Class canceled: Full refund or credit

If a class does not have an adequate number of registered students one week prior to the posted start date, the class may be canceled.
