Class - 205 - Introduction to Hand Tools B (Winter - February)

Continuing from the Introduction to Hand Tools A class, students will learn sharpening theory and then practice sharpening their own chisels and plane blades.  They will then have the opportunity to practice using specialty planes (router, shoulder, spokeshave) and specialty saws (coping/fret) and review the application to common hand tool challenges.

Class Schedule: One 4-hour session 

Prerequisites: None

Membership Requirements: For insurance purposes, this class requires membership in the San Diego Fine Woodworkers Association.  Annual dues are $35.  If you are not already a member, please join here: https://sdfwa.org/memberships.  For insurance reasons, all SDFWA classes require students to be at least 18 years old.

Cost: $95

Refund policy:

1. Up to two weeks notice: Full refund
2. Up to one week notice: 50% refund or credit
3. Less than one week notice or failure to appear: No refund or credit
4. Class canceled: Full refund
